Château Cantenac Brown 2022 – Margaux

The nose is fresh, peppery, intense, deep and offers elegance, intensity, lovely finesse, precise concentration as well as a lovely fine and intense grain. A very nice fresh and powerful velvety side. A very nice spicy/flowery side. It reveals notes of fresh pepper, fresh licorice stick and small notes of fresh Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of pepper, graphite as well as hints of wild blackcurrant, a hint of pulpy purple plum as well as with fine hints of lily, iodine, violet and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a nice juiciness/tartness of the fruit, pulpiness, a certain straightness, a nice velvety, a little infusion side, accuracy as well as a nice tannic structure but with finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and small notes of bright Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of violet, camphor, toasted as well as a discreet hint of roasting and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut/vanilla.
