Light cherry colour. A nose of strawberries and raspberries with an equal amount of sweet spices. Ample attack on the palate. The ripe red fruit quickly takes the lead in a broad, opulent way. This fruit basket is complemented with lively peppery notes in the mid-palate, giving the wine a lively edge and partly offsetting the strength of the alcohol. The tannins are balanced. The slightly grippy tannins demonstrate the wine’s youth. Ideally, this wine should be kept for two years.
