A shiny cherry colour. Elegant nose of coffee and cedar. Moderate aeration reveals a duo of red and black fruits. The palate is dense and rich, with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry and strawberry. This is very ripe fruit that still keeps its crunchiness. The woodiness quickly appears, evoking very pleasant notes of noble woods, but which for the moment mask some of the wine’s fruitiness on the mid-palate. It would therefore be wise to keep this wine, and given the quality of each of the parameters, it’s well worth the wait! We can clearly see a superb evolution towards tobacco, probably within 4 years. The tannins are clean, assertive, fresh and precise. A very fine example with excellent potential!
