The nose is elegant, finely powdery, airy, with a bit of spiciness. It expresses the notes of zan, morello cherry and, more slightly, violet associated with small touches of balsamic, thyme, smoke and hints of roasted berries and camphor. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, tension, precision, nice energy, and a certain purity. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, crushed berries, and more slightly, roasted cherry associated with touches of violet, cardamom, sweet spices, sage and fine hints of blond tobacco and smoked almond. Racy and finely sappy tannins. Good length and persistence.
