The nose is spicy and offers a precise, frank, straight grain with a fine peppery notes. The palate is fruity and nicely defined and offers minerality, a juicy/tangy frame, and a fine sappy note, which underlines the fruit. It expresses notes of pulpy purple plum, creamy blackcurrant and, more slightly, unctuous blackberry, associated with touches of small bright red berries, balsamic, chocolate as well as fine hints of bay leaf in the background. The tannins are supple and soft. Good length and definition.
