The nose is fragrant and gourmand. It expresses notes of ripe red and black fruits, slightly tart (red cherry, fresh raspberry, crunchy strawberry, blueberry, blackcurrant juice in the background) with a delicate sweet touch of red currant jam. On the second nose, we find notes of fresh aromatic herbs (cut thyme, rosemary, fresh bay leaf, a touch of basil in the background), delicate floral notes (dried field flowers) and hints of spices (liquorice, white pepper in background) as well as a mineral and saline touch in the background. On the palate, the wine is chiseled and offers tension and accuracy. The attack mainly expresses the herbaceous and floral flavors of dried mint, fresh rosemary, bay leaf and basil (in the background) and wild flowers, associated with freshness and tangy fruity notes in the mid-palate (red cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, crunchy strawberry, blueberry) and delicate spicy and mineral notes on the finish (a fine touch of liquorice, white pepper). The tannic structure is tight, firm, with a powdery texture. The tannins are young and dry, but enveloped by the wine’s lively acidity. Good persistence on cocoa notes and good bitterness. A chiseled and elegant wine.
