The wine has a bright ruby color of medium intensity. The aromas are pronounced, with a hint of jam. The nose expresses notes of dried strawberry and raspberry, morello cherry jam, and red currant, as well as the freshness of ripe fruit (red cherry, morello cherry, wild strawberry). There are also minty and spicy (eucalyptus, liquorice), and slightly herbaceous (sage, rosemary) touches, with a hint of minerality, as well as a touch of bitter cocoa. On the palate, the attack is expressive, ample, and very fruity, with notes of Morello cherry, strawberry, fresh red plum, crushed strawberry, and black plum with a hint of chocolate prunes and a hint of Sarawak pepper. The body of the wine has a medium (+) level, with roundness and a certain warmth on the finish, balanced by the lively acidity of a medium (+) level. The tannins have a medium (+) level, good definition, and tension, with a refined structure. The finish is long, fruity, and slightly spicy, with a hint of bitterness. A wine with concentration, energy, complexity, and good balance.
