Nice gourmand nose, elegant, well-built, which offers complexity, a certain creaminess as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, crushed plum, and more slightly notes of crushed redcurrant associated with slight touches of lily, and bright cherry as well as slight hints of star anise. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, good definition, fine creaminess, tension, and energy and some vibrant side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, tangy blackcurrant, and more slightly – hints of crushed violet plum associated with touches of lilac, lily, slight hints of fresh star anise/liquorice as well as a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco and vanilla. The tannins are chewy. Good persistence. Nice freshness.
