The nose offers some power and intensity. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, black liquorice and, more slightly, crunchy dark berries combined with hints of grey pepper, fresh violet/iris, as well as a subtle varietal and a very discreet coffee note. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a fresh frame, minerality, good definition and a fine fatness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, morello cherry and more slightly black berry, combined with hints of liquorice, camphor, as well as fine cardamom, a discreet hint of iris and a subtle, almost varietal touch. Good length.
