The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers good definition, a nice racy edge, minerality and straightforwardness. There are notes of white plum, fresh cape gooseberry and slightly crunchy peach combined with hints of yellow fruits, fine hints of bay leaf and a subtle, almost iodine-like, hint of eucalyptus/lime. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers juiciness, a nice definition, precision, straightness in finesse, a fine stretched side and finesse in its tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy white plum, cape gooseberry and more lightly saline, combined with fine touches of crisp yellow apple as well as hints of lime, sense of place (local biotop) and very discreet hints of walnut. Lovely persistence with a subtle, almost sappy, floral and fresh nutty edge.
