Jérome Arnoux – Savagnin Ouillé 2016, Autrement – Arbois

The nose is aromatic and offers a certain complexity as well as a fine concentration. There are hints of dried almond, smoke and, more slightly, yellow fruits, combined with discreet hints of clove. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, gourmandise and a tangy/pulpy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy kumquat, apricot and more slightly almond combined with hints of almost candied citrus as well as a subtle hint of crushed yellow apple and hints of sweet spice. Good length. A lovely wine with good substance. Nice acidic persistence.
