(200-year-old collector bottle, 9th generation) Nice fresh, elegant, precise, gourmand and fine nose. It reveals notes of peach in syrup, mango, and more slightly – hints of dried apricot associated with slight touches of crunchy nectarine, fine hints of hibiscus flowers as well as discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of fresh verbena (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/fresh frame, a slight suavity, and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of peach in syrup, dried apricot, and more slightly – notes of candied kumquat combined with touches of lychee, crunchy apple and fine hints of honey. Nice persistence. A superb freshness. Crunchy in the finish.
