The nose is spicy and a little closed. The wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of nutmeg, blackberry and, more slightly, wild strawberry combined with delicate touches of spice and a fine hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, tightly wound and offers minerality, juiciness and a certain generosity of substance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy raspberry and more slightly ripe red berries, combined with a touch of mocha, tobacco, as well as fine spices and a very discreet hint of faded rose (in the background). Good length. A hint of bitterness from the cocoa on the finish.
