The wine has a beautiful cherry color, moderately pale. It is clear and shiny. The first nose is discreet on plum and candied raspberry. There are also sweet cocoa notes with a sprig of mint and pink pepper. The second nose is more intense, animal, musky with meaty and smoky notes. There is also tobacco. The attack is smooth, fresh with tannins that line the mouth and then expand into an acidic mid-palate. We have vegetal notes at first with herbs but also a little bit of pea pod and mint. We then taste plum, blackberry, a little pepper and a minerality provided by the acidity. The finish has very light incense notes and ends in crushed blackberry.
