Vin de Provence Aix AOP Coteaux d’Aix en Provence 2021

The wine has a limpid and shiny colour which has a pale apricot tint. The first nose is discreet on stone fruits such as vine peach and apricot. With aeration, the second nose has a smoky and floral aromatic on the mock orange. There are also citrus fruits such as mandarin zest and orange blossom. Small crunchy red fruits slowly appear. The attack is fresh and crunchy with citrus fruits and stone fruits such as apricot. The set has a nice acidity, a minerality, which lightens the vinosity of this wine. Apple enters the mid-palate as well as raspberry followed by flowers like wild rose on the finish. There a salinity takes over. The finish is delicate and persistent.
