Château Clos Haut-Peyraguey 2021 – Sauternes 1er Cru Classé

The nose is fresh and reveals a fine crispness, a fine contained richness. There are notes of fresh/compote pear, compote apple and, more slightly, fresh crunchy white fruit combined with fine hints of white flowers, verbena and a subtle, almost vanilla-like touch. The palate is fruity and demonstrates juiciness, a certain volume, gourmandize and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, pink lychee and, more lightly, bright peach, associated with touches of crunchy berries and fine white flowers, verbena and a subtle hint of lime blossom and vanilla.
