Château Capet-Guillier 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Capet-Guillier 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals purity of fruit and good definition. There are notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, bright raspberry and more lightly bright red berries combined with fine hints of violet as well as subtle hints of star anise, a subtle hint of toast/sweet spice and a very discreet hint of bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, tension, greed and a certain purity of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, red berries and, more slightly, liquorice, as well as discreet hints of caramelisation, sweet spices, a subtle hint of bright cherry and fresh nutmeg. Good length.
