The nose is smoky, powdery and reveals some power. There are notes of blackberry, Cuben pepper and more lightly smoky notes combined with hints of toast, strawberry and fine spices, liquorice and a discreet hint of fresh tobacco. The palate is juicy, fresh, racy and reveals good definition, brightness, a certain purity of fruit and depth. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy bigarreau cherry, fresh/ crunchy black berry and slightly fresh raspberry notes with hints of blueberry, lily and fine vanilla and chocolate. Good length. The tannins are elegant, fresh and racy.
