The nose is fruity, elegant, fresh, racy and pungent. There are notes of bright strawberry, pulpy Bigarreau cherry and, more slightly, violet, combined with touches of liquorice, fine hints of star anise and a very discreet, almost serene, touch of pepper. The palate is racy, elegant, fruity and offers a nice minerality, a fine content, gourmandize, fleshiness, density, a nice purity of fruit, a certain delicacy and a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy cherry, Bigarreau cherry and, more slightly, creamy blackberry, combined with hints of meadow flowers, blueberry, chocolate, as well as fine hints of Bourbon vanilla, star anise and a discreet touch of pepper. Tannins are precise and smooth. A fine chewiness and a discreet sapidity/iodine touch on the finish/persistence.
