The nose reveals a certain concentration and depth. There are notes of bright red plum, blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, Madagascar pepper, combined with hints of star anise, spice and a discreet, almost camphor-like touch. The palate is mineral, fruity, discreetly tight and offers tension, some linearity, freshness, minerality, fine concentration of fruit and purity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of red plum, pulpy blackcurrant and, more slightly, Bigarreau cherry, combined with hints of flowers/lys, as well as fine points of sweet spices, a subtle hint of toastiness and a very discreet hint of black olive (in the background). Good length.
