Assuli – Fiordiligi 2021 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is aromatic and reveals finesse and fine complexity. There are notes of pink lychee, fresh quenette and, more slightly, rose petal, combined with hints of grapefruit/sweet lemon and fine mineral notes. The palate is fresh, fruity and offers minerality, acidity, juiciness, fleshiness and a certain gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of sweet/juicy grapefruit, sweet/juicy tangerine small notes of of white flowers combined with delicate touches of bright green apple and a subtle hint of zest, white lily and a very discreet hint of almond (in the background). Good length.
