Baglio di Pianetto – Ficiligno 2021 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is fresh and offers crispness, fine racy minerality and a varietal edge. There are notes of eucalyptus, apple blossom small notes of of crisp white fruit combined with fine touches of citrus. The palate is fresh, mineral and reveals a tangy structure, good definition, energy, gourmandize, volume and freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright green apple, small crisp white fruit and, more slightly, lemon, combined with touches of quince and fine points of rose, pink lychee and a very discreet hint of fresh almond. A subtle hint of iodine (in the background).
