The nose is fruity, concentrated, tightly wound, with some power and fine intensity. There are notes of boysenberry, dense/juicy black berries and more lightly fresh raspberry combined with fine violet, lilac and discrete olive and a very discrete saline edge. The palate is fruity, fresh, energetic, juicy, with a nice minerality/freshness on the attack. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/acidic boysenberry, pulpy/acidic raspberry and more lightly bright purple plum notes combined with fine black berry, black olive, sage and mocha hints, very discreet depth in the background, nice acidity on the finish/persistence. The tannins are supple and sapid. Good length.
