The nose is fruity and reveals freshness, some concentration, a fine power and a discreetly tight grain. There are notes of bright wild blackcurrant, lily, lilac and a hint of white pepper combined with hints of crushed cherry, crushed red berries and a hint of liquorice/badian and a discreet hint of clove (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, an acidic backbone, good work on the bitter taste as well as a certain linear side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fresh plum and more lightly red fruit, combined with touches of lily, lilac and fine hints of liquorice with a discreet touch of fresh nutmeg and gravel. Good length. A very discreet and imperceptible hint of vanilla in the background.
