The nose offers a little fermentary side at present. There are notes of crushed/cooked strawberry, pulpy blackcurrant and, more slightly, crushed blueberry, combined with hints of vanilla, light tobacco and fine, discreet touch of coffee. The palate demonstrates minerality, freshness, volume, some roundness and concentration. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, liquorice and, more slightly, cooked blueberry, combined with hints of fresh strawberry, fresh violet, tonka bean, light tobacco, a subtle hint of cardamom and toasted almond. The tannins are precise. Fine chewiness on the finish/persistence.
