The nose is fruity and reveals a discreetly tight grain. The wine should be decanted. There are notes of pulpy, crunchy apple, quince and, to a lesser extent, kumquat, combined with fine touches of apple blossom, racy minerality and a discreet hint of zest, spice and an imperceptible hint of lemon caviar. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, precision, harmony, gourmandize and a fine acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy lemon, bright white peach and more slightly pulpy nectarine combined with fine touches of apple, apple blossom and a fine hint of lemon and an imperceptible varietal hint in the background. A subtle, almost beeswax and nutmeg edge on the finish/persistence. Good length.
