The nose is fruity and offers elegance as well as a fine power/richness. It reveals notes of dried cassis, dried raspberry and more slightly of fresh fig associated with touch of meat juice / sanguine orange as well as hints of camphor, spices and a very discreet hint of undergrowth. The palate is very delicate, balanced and offers velvety finish, a nice airy side, freshness, minerality as well as a nice fine and discreetly tight texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of Boysenberry, dried strawberry and more slightly fig associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, hints of undergrowth, gravy, saffron as well as a discreet hint of toasted almond and a subtle hint of graphite. Tannins are precise and finely marked. Good length. Hints of chocolate, sapidity and a fine chew on the finish.
