The nose is fruity and offers fine concentration, minerality and a certain softness. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, raspberry and small notes of crushed cherry associated with small touches of red currant candy, hints of cherry blossom, cornflowers as well as a hint of pistil and a very discreet varietal hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers an acidulous frame, a little assumed (and well-mastered) varietal side, a beautiful freshness, minerality as well as a certain delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crunchy cherry and small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with touches of red currant candy, lilac, lily as well as hints of liquorice and a subtle hint of saline minerality. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Presence of a subtle hint of chocolate in the background.
