On the nose it is fruity and quite ripe. It reveals notes of candied cherry, luscious Boysenberry, blackberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of lilac, nutmeg, caramelization / sweet spices and a discreet hint of pepper. On the palate it is fruity and offers minerality / a mineral frame as well as some tension. The wine expresses notes of fairly ripe wild raspberry, Boysenberry and more slightly blue berry fruits associated with touches of lilac, rose as well as fine hints of nutmeg, tobacco and a discreet hint of cardamom. The tannins are finely mellow. A very discreet hint of faded rose and local grove at the end of the palate.
