The nose is fruity, elegant, with power and a certain concentration. There is an inconspicuous tight side as well as a vertical side. There are notes of quince, crunchy pear and more slightly pepper associated with small touches of apple blossom, crunchy quénette as well as a fine hint of lime, peppermint and a discreet hint of licorice. The palate offers juice, suavity, freshness, a little unctuosity, fat as well as some tension. It’s well-balanced, discreetly restrained with notes of quince, zest and more lightly lime associated with touches of crunchy berry fruits, physalis as well as a hint of white flowers. There is a subtle hint of acacia and a discreet note of minty liquorice in the background. There is a subtle saline hint and a very discreet hint of toasted / caramelized. An imperceptible touch of pastry concludes the tasting. There is a nice bitterness on the finish with persistence as well as a little tannic touch.
