On the nose offers a little strength as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe black berries and more slightly violet associated with fine touches of blackcurrant, a discreet touch of licorice and cardamom. On the palate, fruity and offers gourmandize, a fine tension, roundness and a little fat, a fine acidulous/juicy frame and a little compactness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more lightly pulpy/chunky black berries combined with hints of violet, nutmeg and a discreet touch of chocolate (in the background). The tannins are well conducted. Good length. (stylistically stricter and tighter than the girolate cuvée ).
