Château Doyac – Le Pélican 2019 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fresh and offers a certain power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of honeysuckle, fresh kumquatand small notes of crunchy peach associated with small touches of fresh quince and discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition as well as gourmandize, a beautiful tension (full of finesse), energy and a chiseled side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh quince, fresh/juicy kumquatand small notes of honeysuckle associated with small touches of juicy mandarin, orange and flowers. Discreet hints of toasted oak, chestnut butter/hazelnut butter in the finish/persistence.
