The nose offers a small power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of small wild fruits, violet and small notes of pepper associated with hints of peony, spices and old wood/leather. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers generosity, suavity, roundness, a small fat as well as a fine grain and a pulpy/pulpy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy cherry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed blackberry as well as hints of chocolate, caramelization, a fine hint of peony and wood. Good length. Tannins are very finely firm. An imperceptible hint of coffee on the persistence.
