The nose is fresh, slightly tight/on the hold and offers power as well as freshness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, small bright blue fruitsand small notes of griotte associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, liquorice, green cardamom, discreet hints of clove and a subtle hint of cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, on the fruit and offers fullness, juiciness, a beautiful freshness as well as energy, a fine tension, a fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/bright raspberry, fresh cherry and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of small blue fruits, red berries, rose, cardamom as well as fine hints of toasted and cocoa. Tannins are well-built and very finely chewy. Good length.
