The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers juiciness, minerality, fat as well as a good freshness, an acidulous frame and a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, fresh raspberry and small notes of peony, lily associated with fine touches of crushed blackberry, small juicy/fresh red berries, varietal as well as fine hints of fresh nutmeg, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of tobacco (in the background).
