The nose offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, crushed blackberry, small notes of toasted, vanilla associated with fine hints of cassis, a very fine hint of small candied black fruits, an imperceptible hint of flowers (lily) and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, dynamism, a small fat and a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous/juicy blackberry, crushed raspberry, small notes of vanilla, toasted associated with fine touches of pulpy cassis, small crushed black berries as well as a discreet hint of violet, hazelnut and nutmeg. A hint of varietal bitterness on the finish/persistence. Tannins are very finely marked.
