The nose is fruity and offers a small dusty/powdered side. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild black fruits, small notes of chocolate associated with a touch of candied raspberry as well as fine dry hints, cloves, spices and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a fine suavity, a very fine tension as well as a small fullness and a small gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of small black berries associated with touches of mocha, cigar box, cherry stem, fine hints of local copse, cloves and discreet hints of toasted. Good length. Tannins are very finely firm. A powdered persistence on notes of dark chocolate.
