The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration/intensity. It reveals notes of small ripe wild blue berries, fleshy/ripe bigarreau cherry, small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with small touches of small black fruits, cornflower, a racy minerality (terroir). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a good definition, a small gourmandize as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, small blue berries, small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches of cherry blossom, pulpy bigarreau cherry as well as a hint of small wild berries, laurel, sense of the place and an imperceptible hint of liquorice (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. A very fine straightness on the finish. An imperceptible hint of chocolate in the persistence.
