Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair – Les Aiges Pruniers 2018 – Marsannay

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers freshness as well as a very fine intensity and elegance. It reveals notes of quince, crushed mirabelle and small notes of pear associated with fine touches of small yellow fruits, butter and a discreet toasted hint. The palate is fruity, racy and offers freshness, juiciness, a fine salinity as well as a good definition, a small gourmandize and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of   juicy/ripe quince, ripe pear, small notes of small crushed yellow fruits associated with a touch of kumquat as well as discreet buttered hints. Good length. A very fine bitterness on the finish/persistence.
