The nose is elegant, racy and offers concentration (in finesse/control), a beautiful finesse of the intensity, freshness and a red line sensation. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, small black berries, small notes of sense of the place (dry local copse/terroir), black pepper associated with touches of small blue fruits, violet, lily as well as very fine hints of graphite, camphor and subtle hints of toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers an acidulous frame, a small freshness, a good definition, finesse, a beautiful control, a good guideline and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/pulpy black cherry, pulpy blackberry, small notes of juicy/fresh blueberry associated with small touches of crushed raspberry, creamy cassis as well as hints of sense of the place, pink laurel, cuben pepper, sweet spices, liquorice and a subtle grilled hint. Good length and persistence. Tannins are elegant, structuring and well-built.
