The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a fine freshness, a fine power, concentration as well as a very fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of grey pepper, underwood as well as very fine hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine acidulous frame, tension as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, very ripe cassis and small notes of underwood associated with fine hints of Tonka bean, clove, underwood and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant, supple and offer a very discreet chew. Good length.
