The nose is flowery. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of crunchy blackberry, lilac and small notes of fresh cornflower associated with touches of crunchy raspberry as well as fine hints of Tonka bean and a discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers tension/straightness, a good guideline as well as a fine mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, crunchy strawberry and small notes of juicy blackberry associated with a touch of fleshy/ripe blueberry, small hints of chocolate, toasted, clove as well as discreet hints of oak/caramelization and a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper. Tannins are well-built and structuring. Good length. A beautiful persistence with slight notes of chocolate and roasted hazelnut.
