Château La Cardonne 2017 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, cherry and small notes of small ripe wild red fruits associated with fine touches of violet, Cuben pepper, a subtle hint of lilac and toasted. The mouth is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers juiciness as well as a fine acidulous frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy raspberry, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy cherry associated with fine touches of violet as well as hints of Tonka bean, vanilla pod and an imperceptible varietal hint. Tannins are slightly dry.
