Rocca delle Macìe 2016 – Chianti Classico Riserva

The nose is fresh and offers a fine concentration as well as a fine and discreetly tight grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberries, fleshy strawberries and small notes of violet associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, tea, olive tree / sense of place as well as a discreet hint of spice. The mouth is mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine fat, a mineral frame as well as a linear side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, fresh blackberry and small notes of black olive associated with small touches of olive tree / sage, minerality as well as very discreet hints of blond tobacco and spices.
