The nose offers power, concentration as well as a very fine and discreetly tight grain. It reveals notes of cassis and small wild black fruits associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, fine hints of gray / Cuben pepper as well as a subtle hint of black olive and a very discreet hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / slightly acidulous frame, minerality, precision, fine straightness as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy red cherry, fleshy / juicy wild raspberry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with fine hints of crunchy / juicy blackberry, discreet hints of fresh flowers, black olive as well a very fine hints of cocoa, a sense of place, a very discreet hint of spice and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are elegant and racy. Good length. A very discreet touch of caramelization on the aftertaste.
