AXR – Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Denali Vineyard – Napa Valley

The nose is fine, spicy, aromatic and offers a fine persistence and a fine richness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and small notes of arbutus associated with hints of cardamom, small red fruits and a very discreet hint of eucalyptus (in the background). The mouth is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful balance and precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of black cherry associated with fine touches of small red berries as well as very fine hints of violet, chocolate and a subtle hint of sens of the place and tobacco leaf. Tannins are elegant, well-built and marked. Good length.
