The nose is aromatic and offers a fine power as well as a fine deepness. It reveals notes of dry orange zests, rancio and small notes of quince associated with very fine hints of cedar, toffee, bitterness as well as very discreet hints of dry hazelnut/spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, gourmandize, richness, volume, tension, a fine acidulous frame as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, candied Mirabelle and small notes of honey associated with a touch of jam as well as fine hints of saffron, date, discreet hints of yellow flowers and spices/cumin. An imperceptible hint of toasted almond, honey/pâtisserie and an imperceptible hint of vanilla on the persistence.
