The nose offers power, a fine grain as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of small wild berries associated with fine touches of small violet local flowers, tobacco and a subtle hint of tea and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, a good definition as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy blueberry and small notes of violet associated with a subtle hint of small red berries, wild raspberry as well as a subtle hint of violet plum, tobacco and a very discreet hint of olivier (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
