Cottanera – Contrada Zottorinoto 2014 Riserva – DOC Etna

The nose offers a small gourmandize, a fine concentration as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, Cuben pepper and small notes of wild small red berries associated with fine touches of mild tobacco, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of sense of the place. The palate is fruity,well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with fine touches of mild tobacco, caramelization, chocolate as well as very fine hints of dry black olive and flowers (in the background). Tannins are slightly firm.
