The nose is fruity and offers power, straightness, a fine grain, tension as well as elegance. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and pepper associated with fine touches of wild small fruits, wild strawberry as well as discreet hints of spices (in the background) and tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy blueberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, caramelization, fresh violet as well as a subtle hint of vanilla. Good length. Tannins are elegant.
